DETAILED ITINERARY

DAY 1 ARRIVAL ISTANBUL AIRPORT – GAZIANTEP – SANLIURFA (L/D)

After arriving at the Istanbul Airport, you will take a 1.5-hour flight to the Gaziantep Airport in Gaziantep, Turkey. We will visit the Zeugma Mosaic Museum, which is the largest mosaic museum in the world and has more than 1700 m2 of mosaics. You will also get to explore the Gaziantep Castle, which was built by the Hittite Empire and later renovated by the Roman Empire. Hence, you will get to see the rich history of Turkey here before driving to Sanliurfa. Here you will be visiting another historical place called Balikligol, which is a pool that the Jews and Muslims believe to be the place at which Nimrod threw Prophet Abraham into the fire. We will visit two popular mosques near the pool – Rizvaniye Mosque and Halil-ur-Rahman Mosque and stay the night at Sanliurfa.

DAY 2 SANLIURFA – ADIYAMAN (B/L/D)

The day starts with a scrumptious breakfast at the hotel and a visit to the Harran, a major ancient city in the Sanliurfa Province that is known for adobe houses. Explore the historical university ruins in Sanliurfa and take great pictures of the Harran Houses that are made of mud before driving to Adiyaman and visiting Nemrut Mountain by minibus to see a beautiful sunset from the top of the mountain.

DAY 3 ADIYAMAN – KAHRAMANMARAS – CAPPADOCIA (B/L/D)

After the overnight stay at Adiyaman, you will be driving to Kahramanmaras, which is known for the historical Grand Mosque and distinctive Turkish ice cream. You will enjoy these things at Kahramanmaras and also get free time for shopping at the Old Bazaar before driving to Cappadocia, which takes around 4 hours and 30 minutes. The overnight stay will be at Cappadocia.

DAY 4 CAPPADOCIA (B/L/D)

On day 4 of the trip, you have the option of taking an early morning hot air balloon tour of Cappadocia. We will have breakfast at the hotel and visit the carpet factor before going to explore the renowned Underground City that has a rich history due to its vastness and capacity of holding more than 20,000 people. You will also get to enjoy the view of Derbent Valley that various unique rock formations, and explore Avanos, which is considered to be the pottery hub of Turkey. Take pictures at the Goreme View Point and Uchisar Citadel, which is the highest town in Cappadocia. We will also explore the Pigeon Valley, a highly popular hiking trail in Cappadocia, and visit the Turquoise Factory before staying the night at Cappadocia.

DAY 5 CAPPADOCIA – KONYA – PAMUKKALE (B/L/D)

After having breakfast at the hotel, we will drive to Konya and have a photo stop at the Seljukian Caravanserai “Sultanhani”, which was built in 1229 and is one of the largest caravanserais in the world. Explore the Mevlana Museum, the mausoleum of Persian Sufi mystic Rumi, and travel to Pamukkale after a drive of around 5 hours and 30 minutes to stay the night there.

DAY 6 PAMUKKALE – KUSADASI (B/L/D)

After having breakfast at the hotel, we’ll explore the ancient city of Hierapolis after breakfast at the hotel. The ruins of the city may be seen all throughout contemporary Pamukkale. In the Hierapolis-Pamukkale Complex, you may also see the Cotton Castle and the well-known Cleopatra’s Ancient Pool. Before traveling to Selcuk, which is well known for the Ephesus Ancient – Greek Roman City, take some fantastic photos in the pool and stop at the outlet of a textile plant. Spend the night in Kuşadası and explore the Ancient City.

DAY 7 KUSADASI – BURSA – ISTANBUL (B/L/D)

Bursa has a variety of well-known tourist sites, including the Grand Mosque, Turkish Delight Shop, Silk Bazaar, and Green Mosque. Before going to Istanbul, you will be able to view all of these places and snap photographs of them over the Osman Gazi Bridge, the fourth-longest suspension bridge in the world. Istanbul will be our home for the night.

DAY 8 ISTANBUL (B/L)

Istanbul and tourism both depend on sightseeing on Bosphorus cruise. You will get the opportunity to explore the Hippodrome of Constantinople, a renowned square in Istanbul. We’ll also pay a visit to revered historical and religious landmarks, including the 1619-built Blue Mosque and the Hagia Sophia Mosque. Many sacred relics, including The Staff of Moses and personal items of Prophet Muhammad, are found in Topkapi Palace. Enjoy your spare time in the Grand Bazaar shopping before the conclusion of the trip.
