DAY 1    Arrival and BATUMI City Tour

Arrival to Batumi international airport at about 9-11 AM. Transfer to the city. The standard check-in time is 14:00 or 15:00. In the morning, we will have the City tour of Batumi, that starts from Piazza and continue to the statue of Ali and Nino through Medea Square and Poseidon Statue. Then, we will ride up to the hill by cable car (about 2 km long ropeway) for spectacular views to the city and sea in front and to the mountains behind. Free time for walking at the seaside beach. Check-in the hotel and refresh. Later on that day we will have the black sea cruise for about 40-50 minutes.

DAY 2    BATUMI - SHEKVETILI - KUTAISI - TSKALTUBO

Breakfast at the hotel. Our first stop will be in Shekvetili to visit the huge Dendro park that was created only 1-2 years before and has the unique plants from whole Georgia (each plants are more then 80-100 year).

Next stop will be the third biggest but the second with its meaning, Kutaisi. The city is one of the oldest in the world and linked to the ancient Greek myths about Golden Fleece, Argonauts, the mythological heroes and thrilling love stories. We will visit the Cochins fountains in Kutaisi, also the Agro Bazaar. Walking in OLD KUTAISI and visit the Bagrati cathedral there. Then we will have lunch in Kutaisi.

After, our journey will continue to Tskaltubo, where we will have the tour in Prometheus Cave, more then 1 km long cave full of stalagmites, stalactites, underground rivers and halls. We will check-in the hotel in Tskaltubo and rest after the long day. Overnight in Tskaltubo or in Kutaisi.

DAY 3    GORI - UPLISTIKHE - GUDAURI

Breakfast at the hotel, on this day we will move to Eastern Georgia and have the tour in the path of the main history of our country. Our first stop will be in Uplistsikhe caved town, spectacular town with mysterious history from III-II millennium B.C. Then, we will visit the house of one of the most important person, that had the impact to the world history, Joseph Stalin. Visit the museum of Stalin and his place of birth in Gori.

We will continue driving to Mtskheta-Tianeti Region, first visit the Ananuri Complex and Jinvali Dam, Drive to Gudauri Ski Resort and on the way stop to visit the beautiful viewpoint. Stop for photo shooting and then check-in the hotel in Gudauri.

DAY 4    KAZBEGI - MTSKHETA

In the morning, after the breakfast, drive to Kazbegi and change the transport to 4×4 vehicle there – drive up to Gergeti Trinity. The place is one of the most popular touristic destination because of it’s unique location and mesmerizing views to huge mountains of Caucasus. Later on that day, we will drive to Dariali Gorge to visit the border with Georgia and Russia – the place had essential historical meaning for both of countries, because of its location (located in Gorge).

Later we will drive to capital city but on the way, we will stop in ancient capital of Georgia, Mtskheta. The city is one of the most important spiritual center of our country, because here is buried the robe of Jesus Christ. Nowadays whole city is in the list of UNESCO World Heritage. Here we will visit the must see places, Jvari Monastery and Svetitkhoveli Cathedral. Continue to Tbilisi, where we will have panoramic tour of the city before checking-in the hotel. Rest and refresh after the long ride.

DAY 5    TBILISI and City tour

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, at about 10:00 am, we will return to the capital city. We will drive to the OLD TBILISI and start the walking tour to discover the beauty of ancient capital, walking tour starts at the Europe Square and includes Metehki Church, Cable Car to the Narikala fortress (ride up by cable car), “Mother of Kartli”, walking down to Abano District. Drive to the Open Air Ethnographic Museum, which is the best place for short period travelers, because it displays the examples of the history, folk and culture from all over the Georgia.

In the evening, we will ride to Mtatsminda Amusement Park by Tram (returning by bus). The park is highest point of the city. There you can find the good viewpoints to whole city. Free time there for refresh and walking.

DAY 6    SADAKHLO - DILIJAN - SEVAN - YEREVAN

Breakfast at the hotel. Check out at about 09:00 am and drive to the border of Georgia and Armenia, SADAKHLO. Passport control and crossing the border. Meet local representatives (new guide and transport).

Drive to Dilijan, the city is a spa town and urban municipal community in the Tavush Province of Armenia. Usually called Armenian Switzerland or Little Switzerland by the locals. It is one of the most important resorts of Armenia, situated within the Dilijan National Park. Drive to Sevan. Lake Sevan is the largest body of water in Armenia and the Caucasus region. Visit Sevanavank Monastery. Continue to the capital city and check-in the hotel for refreshing.

DAY 7    YEREVAN City Tour - GARRNI - GEGHARD

After breakfast at the hotel our first stop will be Mother Armenia, for panoramic view on Yerevan city after we will drive to the unique caved temple St. Geghard (12th -13th cc.), the name of which means “holy spear” in the honor of the same spear that pierced the body of crucified Jesus Christ. It is now exhibited in the museum of Etchmiadzin Cathedral. On the way short photo stop at Charents Arc. Visit the only remaining pagan temple in Armenia devoted to the God of Sun, Myrth, Garni. The temple was built in 77 AD by King Trdat.

Return to Yerevan short city tour, Republic Square, Northern Avenue, Opera house, Cascade. Visit Matenadaran, the world’s largest repository of Armenian manuscripts.

DAY 8    ETCHMIADZIN and Transfer to Airport

After Check out, drive to Etchmiadzin Cathedral, that is the mother church of the Armenian Apostolic Church, located in the city of Vagharshapat (Etchmiadzin). According to most scholars it was the first cathedral built in ancient Armenia, and is often considered the oldest cathedral in the world. Then drive to Zvartnots Cathedral. Zvartnots Cathedral is a 7th-century centrally planned aisled tetraconch type Armenian cathedral built by the order of Catholicos Nerses the Builder from 643-652. Now in ruins, it is located at the edge of the city of Vagharshapat (Etchmiadzin). Transfer to the airport.
